Morning English courses in Bristol

General English Main Course covers all skills and are well balanced between, speaking, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Topics are based on a course book and each week is a different topic.

General (20 lesson) English courses help students improve all their skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and learn the grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge necessary for living in the UK and using English in an international context. We focus on practical, effective and natural communication and you will get at least five pieces of new language in each 45-minute class.

For groups only (at least 5 children): Summer Junior English courses are intended to make learning fun while teaching the most up to date language and the most relevant topics for younger people. You learn real English and have lots of opportunity to use it.

English classes for juniors aged 14 to 17 years at Oakfield Road, Clifton. Students who study here stay with host families*.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the standard exam for those overseas students wishing to enter university in the UK. Our IELTS classes focus on exam technique and emphasise the linguistic skills you will need to be a success at university.
