Siena is a city located in Tuscany, and is the capital of the Siena Province. It is a medieval town that is most well-known for a horse race called “Il Palio” that is run twice a year in the summer. The horse race is an age old tradition that allows each neighborhood to show its great pride--and to show its superiority to its other local neighborhoods. Students interested in studying Italian courses in Siena will certainly have plenty more to do than just witness The Palio, in fact when the race is not being run, its well known “track” becomes the unique shell-shaped Piazzo del Campo. Visitors and students staying at a Spanish school in Siena will have much to explore in this ancient city, including the Pinacoteca filled with medieval paintings, many outdoor markets and nearby wine tours. Students can practice their Italian speaking skills while enjoying a Gelato at one of the several great places around the city.

Inspired to 2017 Pulitzer Prize-winner Hisham Matar, the course has the student cut off 30 days out of the ordinary routine and devote them to personal cultural interests and individual growth.

For students at the same level and with the same linguistic aims, we can organize mini-groups for 3 people. These mini-groups, ideal for people studying business Italian and working for the same company, give the advantage of being more specialized than our regular group courses and allowing interaction between students in situations such as role-plays and discussions.
