Afternoon English courses in Hawaii

Elective Classes are hour-long lessons that focus on Conversation, Grammar, Survival English, Pronunciation, Idioms and Slang, and Business English. Classes are held Monday through Friday afternoon, starting at 1:00pm, 2:10pm, and 3:20pm.

• Monday – Friday starting at 1:30pm. • Students can start on any day and at any scheduled class time.

English for Young Learners Aged 6-12 Have fun and learn English with Cambridge quality teaching Cambridge Young Learners of English (YLE) is mix level course for children aged 6-12 who want to learn English in a fun and supportive environment. Lesson topics and contents are engaging and designed especially for young learners with interactive projects, songs, games, and puzzles.

GV Hawaii’s Cambridge TLE program is mix level course for teens from 12 to 17 years old, and combines dynamic English lessons held on school campus with optional integrated daily fun activities. Students learn about our island home’s unique culture, improve their English, and make new friends during their stay in Hawaii.

TEENS SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSE MONDAY – FRIDAY 1:00pm – 4:00pm 12-15″Junior High School Students welcome” Our Teens Semi-Intensive course runs MONDAY – FRIDAY 1:00pm – 4:00pm. In this course, we guide our teenage students through a series of ESL textbooks designed to help younger learners of English improve their communication skills.

Our TOEIC Preparation Course is held Monday to Thursday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and Friday from 10:30am to 12:30pm, and is designed to help students achieve a higher TOEIC score. We use General English to discuss how the TOEIC exam is structured, what strategies should be used, and what skills should be developed.
