Full-Time ESL Program (25 Hours/Week)
Our Full-Time ESL Program is designed to help students enhance their English language skills through an immersive and comprehensive curriculum. This 25-hour-per-week course covers all essential language areas: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong focus on grammar, vocabulary development, and pronunciation.
Course Overview includes:
• 20 lessons per week (4 lessons per day)
• Duration: 20 x 50 minutes
• 15 students max. per class
• Beginner to Advanced levels
• Course length: 1–50 weeks
• Age 16+
During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations.
Course Overview includes:
• Morning General 20 in mixed age classes
• Afternoon activities: 3 p/wk
• Course duration: 1–4 wks
• Minimum age: 40
• Elementary to Advanced levels
Example activities include: winery visits, rain forest excursions, Maori weaving, boat trips, theatre visits, Kensington Palace.

At LSI we welcome mature students of all ages, who are “young at heart” on all our courses throughout the year. In addition at specific locations, we organize social activities which suit the more mature student’s interests.

• 24 lessons per week (3 days of 4 lessons and 2 days of 6.5 lessons)
• Duration: 24 x 50 minutes (20 hours per week)
• Beginner to Advance level
• Minimum age 16+
*Minimum 12 weeks booking required for Beginner.

If you want to combine your language studies with other actives, the General 20 Course is the ideal program for you.
As well as covering the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening), grammar and vocabulary in a student centered and communicative setting, you will have the chance to develop both your fluency and accuracy through daily workshops designed to reinforce and the language you studied in the morning.
You will need to purchase a textbook (English $30, French $50) upon arrival.
There are 6 two-month levels in the language program going from a A1-C1 (Beginner to Advanced). There are 3 morning classes dedicated to grammar, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, and intonation.
The main aim of our General English courses is to teach students to speak English fluently and to understand English as it is spoken by native speakers. We provide a balanced programme of skills development (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Grammar).
You will experience how English is spoken and used in many real-life situations. Relevant and engaging lessons will develop your understanding of grammar, vocabulary, idioms and pronunciation, and allow you practise the four skills of everyday communication: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

ENROLLMENT and PLACEMENT:
Upon registration, new students do an oral and written assessment test in order to be placed in an ESL class which corresponds to their level of English. Each session is in two parts which lasts for 8 weeks.
This course is designed for those that want to study English for a short time in a native-speaking environment and are not interested in attending an English-speaking university. The course will focus on learning English in an integrated skills class in your morning classes.
