Advanced Arabic courses in Jordan are for students who can speak Arabic fluently and without mistakes. This course is ideal for students who have a wide vocabulary, know colloquial expressions and idioms, and understand all common grammar rules in Arabic. It is for students who can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without searching for expressions.

Over the course of one week of intensive language study, Levant will teach you how to get around and communicate effectively in Arabic about basic topics in Jordan.
This twelve-week, intensive course places equal emphasis on learning Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Jordanian Dialect (‘Amiya). It will be 12 weeks of intensive language study.
Through learning to synthesize information from various sources and exchanging views with native Arabic speakers, students enrolled in this course will develop an understanding of both vocabulary related to war and peace and Jordanian perspectives towards the conflicts that afflict the Middle East. By the end of this course, students will be able to engage in discussions about war and peace in the Middle East and effectively exchange viewpoints with interlocutors whose opinions might differ from their own.

Jordanian Colloquial Arabic (JCA) courses offer students an immersive study of the Jordanian dialect, which is used by locals for everyday interactions and conversation. The Jordanian dialect is very similar to other Levantine dialects and is also closer to MSA than many different Arabic dialects.
