"A short experience full of growth and learning"

Roberta Cattorini, student from Italy

This year at ULearn English school Dublin practically everything was perfect; excellent organization and attentive and prepared teachers.
Both classes I attended were well thought out and helped me improve my english, especially speaking.

The activities offered were also quite varied, only there was not much participation.

At the end of my course I came back with a cultural and personal baggage that I could not have acquired in any other way.

A more than positive experience in a family, from the welcome to the meals.

The only thing that did not make my stay totally perfect was the location and having to take public transport was initially difficult, but this is because I am not used to taking them where I come from.

"It was an unique experience"

Francesco Mauro, student from Italy

I loved to live this experience!
Ireland is a beautiful place, full of things to do and Irish people are really friendly: so, I think that it is one of the best places to learn English and to have remarkable personal grow up.
In the school, I created good relationship with my teachers and the guys.
I only had difficulty with this with one person, but I believe that you can’t expect the perfection towards everything and everyone!

"Good experience but prices must be lower"

michela rosaspina, student from Italy

I had a beautiful experience in the Ulearn with a good teacher in level B2 course.
Another facilitation of the school was the fact that they are connected with a travel bus agency with lower prices to visit some places near Dublin.
The lessons are focused on Cambridge exam and this could help anyone who decide to do this difficult exam.
In my opinion for the service received: without books, pens, etc.. prices must be lower even if you don't do a course of 5 weeks (range in which you pay less), but was a good comprise referred on prices and substance.

"Acceptable"

Cecilia Peña, student from Spain

I learnt a lot at school but we haven't got any kind of social life
Neither with the school neither with the family. The family was ok but they didn't have me the lunch for the weekend. I think that it isn't an experience in a family. It was like being in a hostel.

"A memorable experience!!"

Anna Maconi, student from Italy

I stayed in the beautiful city of Dublin for four weeks in which I met lovely people and spent wonderful time. My host family made me feel very welcome, I felt like I was at home! I found my morning classes at ULearn very useful. Lesson started at 9:00 and finished at 12:30. The teacher was great!! She made very interactive lessons that helped me and my classmates improve our language skills. In my class there were people from all over the world!! There were Brazilians, Spanish, Koreans, Japanese, French, south Arabians. So I had to talk in English for the whole time. This allowed me not just to be familiar with the English language but also to know new cultures.
The school is situated in the center of the city, so it was very comfortable to visit Dublin's attractions. ULearn provides trips and activities in the afternoon and in the weekends. The price is very good, some of the activities are even free! I especially enjoyed the language exchange. I highly recommend ULearn to everyone. It is really a great school that will help you to improve your English for sure!

"It was an amazing experience."

MEI IAN LEONG, student from Macau

At first, I didn't like my homestay. For me, it was a bad experience. Fortunately, the school changed this for me. I then stayed at a student apartment which was very good. I made a lot of friends who were very funny and very nice. My teachers were very nice and very helpful. I like them so much. When I went home, I missed them so much.

"I had a good time there learning English."

Antonio Moreno Salas, student from Spain

The school was a bit old and without tables, but it wasn't important because the teachers were good, and the classes were interesting and fun.

The location is good, but I'd prefer the housing to be nearer than it was.

"Amazing."

JONE AIERBE, ISASTI, student from Spain

I didn't think that my experience would be like the one that I had. I like the way that they teach at ulearn a lot. We learn grammar but we also learn how to use it in real life, and for me that is very important. The teachers are very close to the students and it is easier for learning. I was only there for 3 weeks, but they have been one of the best weeks in my life. I met a lot of people from all over the world and I've had the chance to learn about different cultures. Great experience and nice people that I will remember all my life. I'm very grateful. Thank you!

Ask a question

"I have a prospective student who would like to study at Limerick International Study Centre . The student is looking into reserving his spot in 2014 June. Can you please clarify the price sheet for me? There are two general English prices as one being the regular course price and the other is high season, is that true? Another question is about the 26 weeks, one year visa fee, could you let me know what that is?"

For short term student i.e. students who are not taking a full academic year we have different price ranges depending on the time of year. We also have incentives for students to extend their stay with us.

"Please let me know about the visit in the flat, if they are allowed or not since the mother would like to stay with her son when she visits him."

Ghizlaine Mahjoub, student from Tunisia
Isabel Kaczmarek, A2Z School of English school representative

We are waiting to hear from the provider. Would she be happy to stay in the same room or need a separate room? I assume that they might want to charge for such visit but will confirm as soon as we hear from them.

"Then I understand that she does not need to pay any extra night. Right? She will arrive on Saturday evening, and leave on Saturday 23rd. I will forward the accommodation brochure to her, still She has already informed me that she is vegetarian."

Natalia García Hernández, student from Spain
John Ryan, Englishour school representative

I am attaching the accommodation form just in case you don’t have one to hand. I have told the host family that she is a vegetarian.

"I'm just wondering if you can provide me some detailed information about host family in this case. The student is worried about whether there's some restriction for the water using in the host family. Also, would it be arranged if your school can provide a non-smoking family for her?"

Ciaran McMahon, ULearn school representative

Yes, we can organize a Non-Smoking family. Regarding water restriction, it would depend on each family to be honest, but a reasonable usage would be ideal.
