OrbitLingua, created in 2002, is an expanding dynamic language school specialized in teaching Italian language and culture to foreign students.
We accept a limited number of students at one time, this guarantees the high quality of our services, the friendly atmosphere and continuous assistance to the students' needs and requests. Additionally, we organise a carefully studied and varied programme of extracurricular activities, including seminars, excursions and special evenings which enable students to discover the many aspects of the Italian culture
The nationality and age mix at OrbitLingua varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 35. In the summer, the average age is 16.

OrbitLingua is located in Orbetello, a characteristic seaside town on the Tuscany coast, less than two hours from Rome, Florence, Siena, and Pisa. The family stay was great. The family was super nice and welcoming, Maria Grazia was a great cook and Luciano helped me when I needed it. I do wish they had corrected my Italian but that is minor. I appreciated that the family lived close to the school. The activities after school were great overall but I feel there should have been more involvement of the adults who were with us. We were basically left to our own devices. In Rome we were left alone for two hours which might be fine for some of the students but for me who didn't know Italian barely at all it was very difficult. I really felt the adults were not involved with the students. This also meant that there was an atmosphere of bullying and making fun of other students in an unpleasant way. I know that one student who was bullied left very soon, and I left because my grandmother didn't feel comfortable that they left me alone in Rome for so long. I would not recommend the program for younger teen agers or for shy ones!

Our host family was very friendly and welcoming, we felt very comfortable as we stayed there. We had a lot of space in our bedroom, that was something we appreciated a lot. The activities were super entertaining and varied, we were happy with all of the activities. The only thing we would have wished for was, to see the inside of the colosseum and stay a little longer on that spot in Rome. We made a lot of great friends for life and we‘re so thankful for everything.

The teachers were cordial, cooperative and, as a whole, experienced, knowing well their profession. The secretary of the school was very polite and helpful. Meeting students from all over the world was fascinating.

The school is very small, so it's difficult to find the right class for everyone. Therefore I can't really judge the quality of teaching. But they tried within their means to make it work, despite my 14 year-old being a complete beginner and quite timid. Excursions were nice, if a bit chaotically organized at times.

But this idea has never come to my mind any other time during my stay. It was truly a wonderful experience. I was one of the first students for the summer season of 2012. The other students arrived slowly. So in the early days there were few students. But this situation was still an advantage. Then I began to discover the area. I absolutely recommend you go to this area! It is a place that you must see before you die. It is worth it! Our teacher (Valentina) was really a good person and a good teacher. I'm so glad to have met you. The school (Orbit Language) was like home. We have become like a family so easily. I miss every one of them! Thank you so much! Always rivenire ..

As our regulations we can accept the enrollments of the students less than 16 years old, if they will be accompanied by one of their parents at school.
Since in this case, I think the student will come alone at school, in order to accept the enrollment of their daughter, we have to receive an email from one of her parents where is written that they want to enroll her daughter in our school. Besides they have to attach a copy of the passports of one parent and of her daughter.
They can also send an email to you and after you forward us the email and the passports.
