I enjoyed the friendly staff and the great teachers. The location was great in central Sapporo. The housing was a bit average, at best. Sufficient but a bit on the very basic side.

Classes are given by the nicest teachers i have had and will ever have. They help you with everything and always smile to brighten up your day. It is very easy to get to and from the school building since it is so close to the station and very accesable by foot. The activities are also very fun, the ones that i did were all unique and fun to go on, i did not get the summer course but the standard course, but i would heavely reccomend people to take the summer course.

The facilities (especially the lounge, bookstore, and common area as well as the classrooms) were very comfortable. We had small class sizes. I dropped in for just one week this time to try out the school for future reference. The instruction methods were solid—at the end of just one week, I was able to comprehend much more spoken Japanese and put together sentences with substantially more complex grammar than I had done before. On top of that, I learned how to read and write Hiragana characters in just that one week. I didn't think it would be possible to learn so fast! My two "sensei" were very welcoming and clear. We also had a fun outing to the famous Sapporo bakery where the "Shiroi koibito" cookies are made and got to make our own white chocolate sandwich cookie. I have great faith in this school now and will be back for longer-term instruction at a future date!
