Excel English Institute empowers students to master the complexities of the English language while learning to thrive in American culture, both academically and professionally. Our interactive approach, developed from years of classroom experience, is tailored to meet the needs of non-native speakers of the English language.
Veteran ESL teachers Cindy Gordon and Mallous Rohani served together as the Curriculum and Program Coordinators at a long-standing English language school in Dallas, Texas where they designed an ESL program that successfully taught hundreds of students English.
Now they have collaborated to create an even more well-rounded, stimulating and effective program to help non-native speakers master all components of the English language.
What sets our language school apart is that our seasoned instructors know how to keep students engaged in the classroom and get stellar results. Ms. Gordon and Ms. Rohani have hand-picked dynamic and experienced teachers who, like them, are passionately dedicated to the success of each student.
The nationality and age mix at Excel English Institute varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 24. In the summer, the average age is 20.

The teachers are great, very nice, very welcoming and they have good methods to teach a new language.
However, I think the programs of the school are not adapted of the students that they wish become fluent in English. Basically, we learn so much grammar and we do grammar exercice everyday. Nevertheless, we don’t communicate and speak English, this is very disappointing for an English school.
Moreover, we don’t learn new things about America culture. I wished more activities about the important moment of america history. I’m from a totally different culture and I don’t know more about the US culture today.
And also, we don’t make so much activities to discover new places and to get connection with other students. It will be interesting to plan more activities ( field trip, reunion …)
To conclude, I learnt a lot about English grammar but I don’t remember everything to use for talking. I think that this school has to review this important point.
Thank you.
I would have liked to see more activities, even after class. I thought more was offered in the afternoon to learn the English language better.
During the lessons, there was little conversation among the students, but a lot of grammar was explained.
The lessons were good, everything was explained well, even questions were answered and explained again.
I had Brianna and Aaron as teachers. I found both teachers very nice and helpful.
The location of the school was good and was easily accessible. However, having your own car is useful.
It would have been an advantage for me to have a laptop or tablet. There is a lot of work with ELS, it would have been helpful if I had known that. Here I have also asked when booking but I was told that you do not need a laptop.
They have good facilities, the teachers are very professional
and the location is excellent.
I didn't like the fact that they offered me an English course for beginners
But when I started the classes I was with a group that they already managed
A medium level of conversational English. The above makes people
Like me, it was your first contact with English, make the most of it
The course.
It was a stay of a lot of learning, the school has very high-level teachers, and with excellent human quality, I met people from different parts of the world I have made very good friends. The location is also good since there are all the services nearby and the staff is attentive.

Show details » Read more...It was my first language intensive course I visited abroad. So I am really happy that it has happened at Excel English Institute. I want to point to teachers’ professionalism, their ability to involve students in the learning process and to help to implement knowledge in practice. Additionally, I enrolled in two electives. It really helped me to improve my pronunciation and my speaking.
The location is great. Quite and clean place in Richardson (Dallas, TX). The Excel English Institute office is very spacious. There is enough room for studying, having lunch and relaxing. The classes are fit up very well. Also, I liked activities (Halloween party and visiting the Dallas Zoo), that helped me to know better American culture and to get the new experience.
If I have another chance to get some course, I will choose The Excel English Institute again.
The experience was sensational, living with people of so many nationalities is very cool. I liked the teachers and the school.

If you are studying full time in the United States for more than 18 hours per week, you will receive an I-20 that you need to submit to the US embassy along with your F-1 student visa application. The I-20 has a SEVIS tracking number on it. Students who wish to apply for a student visa must pay the SEVIS fee online before going to the US embassy or consulate for their visa interview.
Your I-20 will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
Please note that United States law states that an I-20 can only be issued to students who intend to pursue full-time English language studies.
