I really liked my class, and both the instructor and the curriculum were impressive. But my favorite part was the fluency and eagerness of the students. I speak at an advanced level and was nervous that the class was "Intermediate," but it was perfectly advanced and taught at a nice clip. I thoroughly recommend this school.

I had two teachers. I appreciated this. I had good relations with my partners into the classroom and I met beautiful people.
I would have preferred to have had the information meeting before arriving in Canada. This point has never been clear in the organization. I missed a lesson in class because the meeting was on the first day. It's a shame because I only had a week of lessons.
My teacher was a fantastic French teacher! I would request her again if / when I come back

The class sizes makes the experience seem more personal. The location is great which makes break time lunch and/or snacks conveniently located.

He adapted our one to one class to my level and understood what I needed to focus on while covering the basics which one always needs to review.
The school is located in the heart of Montreal at a 3 min walk from the nearest subway station.
I did not participate to any of the activities nor did I use the housing the school offered having other occupations outside of the school. Also, I was very glad that they were able to reschedule classes that i couldn't attend to.
I would highly recommend EC Montreal for their one to one program.
Fine, a little bit chaotic at the beginning but then it all worked out. The staff at the office were helpful.

Dear John,
Thank you very much for your nice words.
We are glad to hear that you had a great time with EC Montreal.
We look forward to having you back with us one day in the future
Best wishes
Learning in EC School was fun, although I only stayed for one week. It was an amazing experience, to say the least. The teachers and staff of the school were so nice. The school made me eager to learn because this school was just a warm place where everyone wanted to help you, and this helped me learn more French than I expected. Staying at Varcity515 was nice for its great location and the attention given to small details.

I felt overwhelmed at first but I soon settled in comfortably. It was only once that I felt some students were taking over the lesson, but the teacher got us back on track. I really liked the cooking class but I would recommend it for an intermediate French speaker. All in all it was a great experience. I have nothing but good words to say about EC International.

I especially liked the teachers that were very respectful and kind.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Montreal. These homes are often between 20 - 45 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 18+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. Ask a questionYes, the only document that the student will need to apply for the visa is the Letter of Acceptance.
The students who want to register for a Language COOP program must take only full time programs. Either intensive (22.5 hours per week) or super intensive (30 hours per week). In this case the student must apply for a CAQ (Certificate of Acceptance of Quebec) a study permit and a work permit.
Do not worry. I do not know the exact number of hours in Canada but the minimum number of hours to apply for a study permit, according to our programs will be 22.5 (Full-time program). International students cannot register for Part-Time courses from outside Canada if they plan to apply for a Study Permit. If you are an international student and wish to apply for a Study Permit, you need to be studying full-time (Intensive or Super Intensive programs only).
In that case what we will do it to register her for a full-time course and once here we can modify the program length and recalculate the invoice. This way she will get the study permit and will spend more time with her daughter.
Unfortunately we don’t operate any high schools in Canada, because we are just the one of private language schools in Quebec.
