Becari Language School is located in Oaxaca, a charming city full of fiestas and indigenous culture. You can find Becari on M. Bravo street 210, in a beautiful building, almost three hundred years old, in the downtown area, just two blocks north from the main square (zócalo).
At Becari we specialize in offering many different options for any person interested in learning our beautiful language, group, one on one lessons, courses for children, medical Spanish, workshops, etc. Students can enter for as little as one week or for a long indefinite period of study.
To study at Becari is not only to learn another language but also to enter another culture. We can organize weekend excursions to archeological sites and small villages.
We are a medium size school which prides itself on careful and sustained attention to each student regardless of his or her level of proficiency with a staff of qualified teachers who have ample experience in the field of Spanish as a second language.

Becari does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.

In the center of the school, there are two patios where students can sit and chat before and after class. the classrooms surround the patio. The building itself is conveniently located just two blocks north from the main square (zócalo) and one and a half block from Santo Domingo Church. We are neighbors of one of the best cafes in the city. Banks, exchange houses, and other services are very close to Becari.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Oaxaca. These homes are often between 10 - 20 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
