Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic, as well as the largest city in the country in size and population; it is also one of the largest cities in Central Europe. Although Prague is so large, it is easy to travel with many busses, trams, and shuttles, which is good news for students interested in attending Czech school in Prague. Prague is also one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with countless numbers of medieval buildings and architecture. It was virtually untouched in World War II, which means that it offers a glimpse into the past that many tourists and students come to Prague specifically to see. Students interested in taking Czech courses in Prague can stroll through the cobblestone streets, visit the many old churches and cathedrals, check out the Charles Bridge, visit the Prague Castle, or head to the historic city center (named a UNESCO World Heritage site) to experience the past of this old city. For visitors interested in some of the more out-of-the-ordinary places in Prague, a visit to Frank Gehry’s “Dancing House” or the Astronomical Clock would be a good start. Prague is also home to a zoo, as well as many historical museums, museums of art, and cultural museums. A trip to Prague would not be complete without a walk along or a boatride on, the Vltava river which runs through the city; although the river deals with some pollution issues because of the city’s many inhabitants, it is a place of beauty and pride for the city of Prague and should not be missed.
A) This program, “I’m not afraid, I want to speak fluently” (1-1 session)
This one is designed for clients who wants to invest 100% to individual language learning with native speakers – one student paired each hour with one English lecturer. In more than 70 hours of English conversation, students will improve both their speaking and writing skills.
Our Summer Camp is based in Prague, where students of ages between 11 - 19 have a chance to mix with many different nationalities and make friends from all over the world. We recommend students to have at least A1 level of English to be able to get the most from the classes and B1 level for our 'special' classes, like film making, science etc.
