Costa Rica is a fairly small, but magnificent country located in Central America. Known for its coffee, Costa Rica is most famous for its gourmet Tarrazú beans which are some of the finest coffee beans in the world used for making espresso. Although tiny, Costa Rica is a huge tourist destination. Ecotourism makes up a large part of Costa Rica's visitors; amazingly, Costa Rica likely contains about 6% of the world's plant and animal species within its borders. Visitors have a wide variety of choices when they visit Costa Rica; they can choose from casinos, extensive national parks and preservations, or amazing sights like the Poás Volcano Crater-- the country’s most popular tourist attraction. Taking Spanish courses in Costa Rica is another wonderful opportunity to explore a small country with big ambitions. In the evenings during your stay you can walk the streets listening to locals play guitars and marimbas, and soak in the whole experience.
