Long-term Italian courses in Montepulciano

The intensive courses are designed for groups of 5-10 students of a similar level and include lessons every morning (4 hours a day) and activities during the week..

This course is concentrated into 12 weeks. As an introduction to Italian as a spoken and written language, the course is designed for students who wish to be fully immersed in the language; thus students who are willing to do extensive and intensive oral practice, regular laboratory work, reading and writing exercises.

This long-term course is specifically designed for you to obtain an advanced level of proficiency in the Italian language. It offers the great opportunity to combine study while living in Italy to gain a greater understanding of the Italian world.

NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK Four hours* a day (5 - 10 people) *An hour of lesson corresponds to 50 minutes.

Full-immersion course composed of: 165 contact hours of Italian Language & Culture, up to 135 hours of Humanities & Social Science courses, and Service-Learning. After meeting the group on the arrival day at Pisa International Airport (PSA), SIS staff will accompany the group to Siena where host families meet the students.
