If you want to Study English in Cape Town, we would like to welcome you to the Language Teaching Centre, LTC. The General English Course is ideal if you want to improve your everyday communication skills and you prefer to study in a class with other students.
Contextual lessons are balanced to ensure that students improve their ability to apply language structures (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) for authentic communication and improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Consists of Standard English in the mornings, combined with conversation classes in the afternoon. Intensive courses provides further improvement of student’s fluency and communicative competence by expanding on vocabulary and practicing speaking skills.
The General 20 course focuses on language fluency as a main goal. The four major skills students will practice are reading, writing, speaking and listening.
The Intensive 30 course focuses on language fluency as a main goal.The four major skills students will practice are reading, writing, speaking and listening.
One-to-One tuition is the ultimate course for making maximum progress during a short period of time. This is an intensive course which is 100% focused on your English language needs and designed by your teachers to meet your requirements.
The General English course will cover the four main skills you need to write and speak English (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with an emphasis on practical communication in common situations, such as travelling, shopping, and leisure time.
The course includes 20 lessons (15 hours) per week.
Learning English in a group of 6 people (in the afternoon) has a lot of advantages because sometimes you need to have a bit more attention, be able to ask more questions and reaffirm any knowledge you already have.
You will still have a lot of classroom interaction and activities designed to help you learn faster, but in our Mini Group English Plus course, you will also have a more personal touch for your learning path.
