The REAL program prepares international students to achieve the English language proficiency required for success in an academic degree program and as a professional in their respective field of study. Eight 8-week courses take students from elementary to upper intermediate English proficiency in all skills--reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and grammar through an integrated communicative approach, with an emphasis on academic language and cross cultural communication.
