ESE prides itself with having very high standards in the delivery of our courses and all our services. We are members of EAQUALS, IALC and Quality English as well as the local association FELTOM. In fact, we are the only school in Malta to have all such accreditations which are recognition of our high standards.
We are a large school however family run and are considered to be a market leader giving that personal attention to all our students. In fact, ESE has two schools operating out of the same building: ESE and ETI as well as an annexed school for the Teen summer programmes at a resort-style campus at the 4 star Salini Resort.
ESE offers mainstream courses (adults and teens) and ETI offers 30+, business communication and fluency and teacher training courses..
ESE is conveniently located on the fringe of the popular entertainment centre Paceville within walking distance to restaurants, bars and other places of interest. The beach of St George’s Bay and ESE's Adult Beach Club is just down the road from the school as is the old and quaint fishing village of St Julian’s with many restaurants and bars.
ESE also offers a great range of accommodation options from in-house Residence on B&B (popular with adult short term stays), self catering apartments within walking distance of ESE (popular with students staying long term) and hotels.
ESE has partnerships with the following universities and colleges in Malta. You can gain full or conditional acceptance into one of these institutions.
The nationality and age mix at European School of English Ltd varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 22.
ESE teaches students from all over the world, including:
ESE is conveniently located on the fringe of the popular Paceville, the entertainment hub of Malta. Within walking distance of the school, you will find restaurants, banks, bars, nightclubs, shops, casinos, two shopping centres, cinemas, a bowling alley, hotels. ESE also has its own in-house residence and ESE apartments are within short walking distances. The beach of St George’s Bay and ESE's Adult Beach Club is just down the road from the school as is the old and quaint fishing village of St Julian’s with many restaurants and bars.
The location of the school, the study rooms and study environment, the teachers and support equipment such as texts and smart screens, excellent.
The teaching methodology and the adherence to the schedule by the teachers was very good.
The only negative criticism is that the course I took was to share with older adults and the average age of the 11 students in the course was 25 years old, but this did not cause learning problems during the 3 weeks.
Location was perfect. The teacher was demanding and followed all the rules of COVID 19. She gave brilliant tips about places in Malta which we must to visit. I didn't use organized activities because I stayed in my family's apartment. I did it by myself. I liked everything.

Hi Amra,
Thank you for your review. We would be pleased to welcome you back so that you can experience all that we offer.
My experience at ESE was useful. It help me to get more confidence in my ability to understand and speak English. My private lesson (one to one) was very useful.
Show details » Read more...The two weeks in ESE was a single experience. I liked of everything, but the multicultural contact (colleagues of 12 countries) and the high and good level of teachers (Sofia and Adam) was especial. Really, the location, structure, facilities, team ESE, activities, are perfect. Was hard to go away (my job... lol). Next year I will return. I loved!

If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. You must check out 1 day after your classes end (usually a Saturday).
