Course description

Studying Japanese, experiencing Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and Japanese sweets making, activities such as rafting and canoeing… This summer, JaLS GROUP FUKUOKA CAMPUS has prepared a special summer course for students studying Japanese in Japan, which offers many experiences. Spend this summer in Fukuoka, where you can explore history and nature!

Summer in Fukuoka is extremely exciting, with many different festivals and events. Practice and preparations for the festivals begin in all sorts of places before the festivals, and the whole of Fukuoka is filled with the anticipation of the festivals. There are always events around the station where the school is located, which is one of the best parts of coming to Fukuoka to study in the summer.

In addition to taking 15 lessons of Japanese a week, and 2 cultural lessons and 3 activities a week.

Become part of a Japanese family
Our homestay families are kind and ready to welcome students as part of their family.
Each student will have their own room but eat breakfast and dinner with their family each day.

We will carefully match students to a family based on preferences and personal needs such as dietary restrictions. We hope that you can enjoy many activities and daily life with your host family.

Students selecting the homestay option must use our airport pick-up service. Our driver will accompany students to their homestay location to ensure safe and punctual arrival.
Students under the age of 18 must stay with a host family.

Additionally, convenient access to the subway station allows you to make the most of your time and enjoy your stay in Fukuoka.

HIGHER-END PRIVATE APARTMENT
The private apartments are furnished and have basic kitchen facilities. We recommend these for students who want privacy and a quiet space. For those who want a larger, higher-quality room, we offer high-grade private apartments. These are also great for inviting friends or family to enjoy time in Fukuoka together.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Fukuoka based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
