Course description

For Teenagers Who Love Art and Want to Build Confidence in English (Ages 16-18)
For teenagers who are passionate about art and eager to improve their English in a real-world setting, Sketch Scotland offers a unique, immersive learning experience. Designed for young creatives aged 16-18 in a small group of just 3, this art-themed English holiday combines practical language coaching with hands-on artistic exploration in Scotland’s inspiring landscapes.

Participants will develop their sketching and creative skills while naturally building fluency in English through guided art workshops, outdoor sketching sessions, and cultural excursions. The program is designed to help teenagers use English with confidence, whether they are discussing their artwork, engaging with local artists, or exploring Scotland’s museums and galleries.

Course Highlights
Art in Context: Daily creative exercises, sketchbook challenges, and inspiration from Scotland’s natural and urban landscapes.
English Through Experience: A focus on real conversations, ensuring natural language development through artistic expression.
Cultural & Outdoor Discovery: Visits to galleries, studios, and historical sites that provide artistic and linguistic inspiration.
Supportive Small Group Learning: A welcoming space where young artists can express themselves and gain confidence in both art and English.
By the end of the holiday, students will return home with a portfolio of artwork, improved English skills, and the confidence to use their language in creative and everyday situations.

Limited places available—an unforgettable opportunity for young artists to develop their skills and language in an immersive, supportive environment.
