For teenagers who are passionate about art and eager to improve their English in a real-world setting, Sketch Scotland offers a unique, immersive learning experience. Designed for young creatives aged 16-18 in a small group of just 3, this art-themed English holiday combines practical language coaching with hands-on artistic exploration in Scotland’s inspiring landscapes.
Participants will develop their sketching and creative skills while naturally building fluency in English through guided art workshops, outdoor sketching sessions, and cultural excursions. The program is designed to help teenagers use English with confidence, whether they are discussing their artwork, engaging with local artists, or exploring Scotland’s museums and galleries.

Blue Noun Language School offers a unique alternative to traditional classroom-based language learning. It’s all about engaging in real English conversations within the community and exploring Scotland with the guidance of an English coach.
The setting is extraordinary: a stunning open-plan, repurposed church filled with living plants, comfortable sofas, contemporary art, and a vibrant record collection. This inspiring space is designed to spark meaningful conversations and connections.
The coaching approach empowers learners to express themselves confidently in English. Rather than traditional lessons that emphasize being a learner, the focus is on building real-world communication skills and self-assurance through immersive, living language experiences.

Crieff is a medium-sized town located in the heart of Perthshire, a region in central/northern Scotland renowned for its stunning mountains, wide salmon rivers, outdoor sports, and breathtaking scenery.
Our school is situated in Crieff town centre, just 20 miles from the cities of Perth and Stirling, and approximately 30–35 miles from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Perth. These homes are often between 10 - 20 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
