Also, we use visual learning methods to support students in understanding the core grammar in a short period.
[Social Activity Programs]
Rolling Korea incorporates Social Activity Programs to provide a unique and effective curriculum, connecting class contents with social activities. We aim to provide an environment where students can apply what they learn in class to real-life situations. This helps the students become familiar with the Korean language more quickly and makes language learning less stressful by creating environments that encourage interaction with friends from all over the world. With our social activity programs, students experience the most effective ways to learn Korean.
[Facilities]
Rolling Korea takes pride in its modern, practical, and balanced facility. The moment you step through the door, you are welcomed by a spacious lobby and a stylish atmosphere that motivates students to enjoy their daily school life. The "Global Lounge" is furnished with tables for students to study and relax at any time in a neat environment. One of the greatest perks of the lounge is the "R Cafe," doubling the fun for the students. In addition, there are various educational facilities such as a projector, monitors, computers, and more. Hi Julie,
We thank you so much for the review! :)
So happy to hear that your Korean skills are getting better! We will continue to help students to make sure they improve in Rolling Korea. Hope we can meet again in the future!
I only spent 3 short weeks at Rolling Korea, but in those 3 weeks I had an amazing time and learned so much.
Travelling to the other side of the world solo was a first for me, and going to a language school was also a first, and I’m glad when I decided to do one I also decided to do the other.
The housing I stayed at was very conveniently close to the school as well as entertainment, food, and shopping in Hongdae. It made my experience that much better that it was so close to everything.
Without attending Rolling Korea I not only would not have upped my Korean language skills significantly in a short period of time, but I was able to make friends to go on adventures with from school. Rolling Korea also had many activities for students to sign up for, and I was able to do things I would likely not even think of doing otherwise such as a day trip to Suwon and having a picnic by the Han River. The teachers and administrators are excellent, and the activities are so much fun and well run. I really would recommend this school to anyone with an interest in Korean culture and language.
Hi Rachel ,
Thank you so much for your awesome review :)
We had an amazing time with you too! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our class, housing and activities. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please visit us again in the future~!
The classes and teachers were great. Everyone had their own technique but mostly everyone was really open to conversation and comprehensive. Due to lack of students it was slow at times but nothing that was really bad to my education. I do think that the price is high though I understand why it is that way.

We always make sure the students are comfortable in class so that we can help them anytime! So happy to hear that you have enjoyed the class and loved our teachers! We will do our best to make the stay worth it for all students. Thank you!!
I took two weeks intensive course during Christmas.
1) Small group teaching environment (7 people) 3 to 4 hours lessons everyday
- plenty of opportunity for you to engage into that learning atmosphere
2) Teacher teach step by step with adequate materials such as pictures/video/games/activities/role playing
- really speed up and consolidate the languages skills
3) Location is very near hongdae station quite easy to be accessed
4) Canteen
5) After class activities are also definitely a good time for you to learn korean culture and social communication with classmate:
- Lunch meal with teacher/buffet/Ice skating/Movie review/christmas party...etc...
It is a very memorable experience learning korean languages and their culture. Quite tough but worth. .
I could say rolling korea is not only a place can level up your language skills you could also meet new friend from different countries. Definitely will come again.Fighting!!
Hi Lau Jonathan,
Thank you so much for your review :)
Even though you were here for a short time, we are glad that you have enjoyed your stay with us! We can't wait to have you here again! Korean study Fighting!!
The class I was in was with other English speaking students. The teacher, she spoke English really well and took things slow while explaining the alphabet and explained the grammar thoroughly. Once we started understanding Korean she spoke in only Korean to us, which not only helped a lot in learning to understand native speakers, but also made us pick up the pronunciation of words very quickly. The staff at RK were some of the friendliest and very welcoming people I have met, I truly hope they keep having staff like that at the school. I enjoyed the activities together with the group, I wish they would be even more frequently!

Hi Irina,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review.
We are very happy to hear that you were happy with your stay at Rolling Korea, and we hope to see you again soon!
class are compact and teachers are very helpful. As the class is held in full Korean interaction, there are times which we may not understand some difficult words and teacher is kind enough to translate into English for us to understand better. There are activities held such as a get together after class, outdoor activities and also days to experience Korean culture. I would say it is an experience to remember.
Location of school is convenient and facilities are very new and the school has a common area including a cafe for students to mingle around too.
Probably one thing about the facilities provided is that toilets for female is very small and only two cubicles so it’s always a long Q as the female population is huge. The waiting time takes too long sometimes that we may not be back in time for class.
Hi Shuyi,
Thank you for your review!!
We are very glad to hear that you found the experience enjoyable and our Korean classes productive :)
And thank you also for the feedback on the facility. We will try our best to resolve this matter as soon as possible!
As someone who was completely new to Korean as a language and parts of the culture, I was totally stunned at how effective the classes were at Rolling Korea. Even if i took the regular classes for one month, i learned quickly, i would recommend the classes for anyone who wants to learn the basics and a little bit more of the Korean language!
I absolutely loved every second I've spent in that school and it made my overall experience in Korea even better than it was.
The teachers and staff are some of the nicest i have met, they're very helpful, polite, and friendly.
The location was perfect, in the middle of Hongdae, not far away from the big shopping streets and restaurants, so you could always do something with your teachers or fellow classmates after school or during breaks.
At Rolling Korea, they encourage you to speak Korean as much as you can, and they encourage you to meet your classmates and other students at the school with trips to the sea, or other activities like lunch together, games, wearing traditional clothing, etc.
I absolutely loved my class and teachers and would love to come back again once i have time again!
The housing was alright, small but it was very local, and as an outgoing and active person, i barely spent time at my new home, and was always outside to explore Korea as much as i could. I've actually come to love my housing a lot, even if it was small, it felt like home. It felt great being in this air conditioned room with a fridge right next to your bed after a long hot day outside.
Also, the housing i was in was 15 minutes away from Rolling Korea by foot, had a 7/11, a bank, restaurants, and bars near it.
If you don't mind smaller housing, or are used to it, i would definitely recommend it for the location it was at, and the air conditioning.
I absolutely fell in love with Korea during my stay, which i did not expect! I went out and made many native Korean friends outside of school, i felt encouraged talking to people after taking the classes, which caused me to make loads of close friendships and connections, and go on trips outside of Seoul.
I even made friends with some of the teachers at Rolling Korea after graduating from their classes.
They're all unique and nice people who really love their job and it shows. They are passionate about teaching and very patient. They love to joke around and help you open up quite a lot!
Thank you Rolling Korea for giving me this amazing experience, and i hope everyone who reads this will have a great experience too.
Enjoy the small things in life, and explore Korea, talk to people, even "bad Korean" is still Korean and the locals will appreciate your efforts.
Hi Marie-Claire :)

Best decision I’ve made coming here! The staff and teachers were very kind and helpful and ensured I was having the best experience possible, and my Korean improved tremendously. I wish I was staying for longer but I will definitely be back!!

Hi Arthur :)
Thank you for your honest feedback!
We will try our best to diversify the activities so that more students can actively participate in the activities!
Please take care and we hope to see you again!
I took a week's course at Rolling Korea because I was already studying the language at home, and I wanted to experience studying in a Korean environment. My stay was short, but I can honestly say that my skills improved greatly, especially at pronunciation and understanding. And I had a lot of fun! The atmosphere is great: students of all ages and nationalities united by the love of Korean culture, friendly and very skilled teachers, and a variety of activities that made learning fun and gave me a good insight on Korean culture and people. I really hope I will be able to go back to take a longer course. Totally recommended!

Do I recommend learning korean at a language school in South Korea?
I do.
Was choosing Rolling Korea in Seoul a good decision?
No. Because good is not the fitting word.
To me, it was the best decision I could have made!! ❤️
To be honest, my expectations in improving my korean a lot in only 2 weeks weren't very high, because I didn't know much and never had any listening or talking practice before. So I was more than surprised, how much you can learn and improve in that short time. This school gives you a lot of confidence to use what you already know and to try newly learned grammar out. Before I attended the school I hardly could say more than short basic words, but at the end of the 2 weeks I had small conversations. I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes in those conversations, but we understood each other and you can only learn by doing.
The classes where held in korean, but they are such good teachers, that you understand what they want to tell. If there was a word, situation, difficult grammar I or my classmates really still didn't get, they helped us a little in english or even japanese (Many of my classmates where japanese and didn't speak english. A great opportunity to practice korean even more ;D ). But you don't just learn the language, you also learn a lot about traditions, lifestyle, korean food, games and much more and you can join in many many wonderful and fun activities. They are also very talented in connecting people. I never felt lonely and even found many new friends from all over the world right from the first day on. They are also there for you when you need a doctor, hairdresser or anything else. Just go to the pretty and lovely ladies at the front desk and they will always try to help you. I want to thank all staff members, the principals, teachers and my schoolmates so much for that fun and wonderful time! I will carry those great memories in my heart and I'm looking forward to see you all again. I'll come back for sure.
I love the school and the teachers
The location is really central so I live in the middle of Seoul and in the middle of life
I would really recommend the school to everyone who start to learn Korean.
The teachers were very friendly and the location was very nice, also the housing. I didn't make many activities with the group, I went to seoul with my friend, it was very good
