Course description

Our language school is part of Europa School of English which is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK and is a member of English UK, the world's leading language teaching association. All lessons take place on King Alfred campus of The University of Winchester

For a personalized approach, consider our Mini-Group English Course (20 lessons a week), running from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 12:30 (including breaks).
Working in groups of up to 6 students, benefit from highly individualized lessons.
The course is based on the same concept as the Intensive English Course. Tailored learning to students’ specific language needs, collaborating closely with the instructor to address the areas that matter most to you.

Levels include Pre-Intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2), and Advanced (C1).

If available mini classes don't match your level, students are placed in a general course for lessons 1-3 and receive a private lesson for lesson 4 to cater to specific needs.

All Courses are available for a minimum duration of 1 week.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from IP Winchester. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
