A2B Immersions is located in the heart of the "Ecusson" at the very centre of the city. It is close to the triumphal arch, the shops of Foch avenue, and the fashionable area of Montpellier. The school's excellent location means you are never more than a short walk away from all the major attractions in Montpelllier. Tramways lines 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Anne and I met for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week for a month in the classroom at the school. Our focus was listening and speaking, and, being a former ESL teacher myself, I found her very skilled at drawing me out, giving me practical tips to improve my competence, and introducing topics that were not only interesting, but added depth to my understanding of the language and French culture. She would often target specific grammar points that she noticed were giving me trouble, and I found her explanations and printed exercises very relevant and useful. I still remember the videos she showed me for comprehension practice. They expanded my knowledge in multiple ways. All in all, a very encouraging, fun, and useful learning experience for me.

The housing was great, my host was very concerned about her guests and happy to help us with anything. The only thing that I missed was company and some activities, because the school was very small.

groups were really small, 1-5 persons. the topics were interesting, not boring at all. Perhaps there was too much homework for me.
It was a good intensive class, a lot of personal/private teaching just for me. It was just one week and 20 hours, but I believe that
my French skills are now distinctly better. And the lessons didn't disturb my holiday at all, I liked Montpellier and the beach.
The individual course was intensive, with a focus on grammar and typical forms of expression. The focus was on the acquisition of basic language structures at B-level and the impressive correction of recurring errors in oral and written language use.
The only criticism is the technical audio equipment of the language school.
I think the welcome was very good and the method employed to teach the language is suitable for the development of the students. I liked the texts chosen for the activities, of course, Anne is a fantastic teacher, the actvities selected per week enabled us to practice oral and written skills in a progressive way. The group formed was also very suitable for enhancing our learning!!
If I'd chosen to have accommodation as well I would have learned even more. I do recommed it!!
I had a fantastic experience with French course at A2B:
The course was a one to one course, I decided, together with the teacher, even the content of the course and Amelie did a great job.
I learned more in one week at this course, than I have done at other courses where we where 5-8 people where the levels were different.
I will definitely return to A2B and learn more :-)
I am very satisfied with the course, with my teacher in particular. She is very flexible, energetic and helpful.
She is doing her best to help me learn the language and solve the problems.
I liked that the teacher spoke French almost all the time. She was energetic, motivating, correcting in a helpful manner, and seemed to understand what level I was in, so that she tried to adapt to me even though the others were better. I also learned a lot from the homework and I think the material was appropriate to my level. Although I was very happy with the teaching and the small group of only 2 more people, I may have benefited from a slightly larger group with pupils at the same level as myself.
The location was fantastic, next to everything, and it was easy to find housing nearby.
The facilities seemed a bit worn down and could do with a re-furnishing.
Anyway, I'm very happy I went. I'm motivated to go on studying French - which was what I aimed for.
I liked the school - the way they gave me information and focused on the student until the student understood. There were many activities and locations to visit. The teachers were very cool and awesome, and the location was very easy to reach, as it was at the center of the city. I liked the family I lived with. I made many friendships in this experience. I liked the life in Montpellier.

The class, teachers, facilities and activities were very good. The teachers were all natives with great knowledge of teaching methods which helped in learning.
My time spent in France with A2B Immersions school was a real great experience that I will never forget. I really enjoyed working with my teacher Anne Bocquet. She is a very pleasant, patient and comprehensive teacher who knows how to adapt and to interest any kind of audience she has.
Classes were very interesting, varied and funny. I really improved my French thanks to this.
Moreover, this school is very comfortable and A2B Immersions organizes several parties with pupils and teachers all together, which is very nice. I have met a lot of fantastic people and have discovered a beautiful city full of surprises.
I was smiling during my whole stay and if I could, I would stay longer...
I recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn French in an easy and quick way while enjoying Montpellier.
To all language enthusiasts – highly recommend A2B and Anne’s unique teaching methods: she develops bespoke programmes for each individual. I was fortunate to benefit from it last summer (shame could only take a week from work) – next year will definitely go for a 2-week-immersion to ‘drown in the language’ completely!!

I was encouraged to speak constantly, and I had many opportunities to use my French, not just in the classroom but also in my home stay and in excursions outside the city. The school is in the heart of Montpellier. I was able to walk to my classes, or to take the city tramway. Transportation in Montpellier is very easy.
The home stay was also very nice. Every evening I ate dinner with the host family and with other students, which was another good opportunity to use my French.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience. I came away with much better language skills. I could hardly have chosen a more enjoyable way to learn French, which I needed for my work. I highly recommend A2B for adult language learners looking for a program tailored to their individual goals.
Loved the reception which I had at the school. Well, that was before the arrival of certain level of knowledge of the language, and I got to group up to my expectations. Classes were built Interestingly, all aspects of the language were studied, student needs are taken into account. For example, what was important for me was listening comprehension and Anne Boquet my teacher took that into account. Loved the trip to Nimes, which was organized by our teacher.
As for accommodation, I lived with my friends, but I know from reviews of other students who lived in families that conditions were very good .
I hope that will be possible once more to study in this school.
