The School is located in the very centre of the city of Tangier. It is in Merchan, near the kasbah (Unesco heritage). The school's excellent location means you are never more than a short walk away from all the major attractions in Tangier.
The school is also 10 minutes walking from the "riad" where most of the students live during the Summer School.
I stayed in Tangier for one month long. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I had abroad.
The staff was very supportive, the teachers were friendly and competent. The location was in a good position in Tangier and the housing was comfortable, because it was in the same place of the school.
We had breakfast and lunch included in the accommodation fees, thus improving our wellness.
During the weekends, we had the chance to travel by ourselves and the teachers advised us on what was best to see.
The Moroccan dialect is really difficult to understand, but I could follow a dialect class in the afternoon, so I felt less lost in the streets.
If I had the chance, I would have stayed longer.
The only drawback was that, during the first week, in my class we had a teacher with not so much experience, so we kind of lost time, because our Modern Standard Arabic was not that good and we could not communicate well between us students and the teacher.
I suggest to whomever is reading this review in taking the chance to discover Morocco.
I fell in love with this country, so rich and diverse in its history and culture, with mountains, desert, Ocean and sea to discover and the Berber culture and language as well.
I was at TangeriBiz for one month and attended the highest level (4) or arabic classes. The teacher was making several mistakes when speaking arabic and I eventually moved to an intensive 1 to 1 class. While the teacher was linguistically more knowledgeable, it did feel like he did not know how to structure a 1 to 1 course or what goals to reach so I ended up doing many things without a clear purpose.
The school facility was a pretty poor ( a big rat was passing through the basement where I was taking my classes) and, overall, I found this summer course way too expensive considered the services offered, especially when compared to other courses both in Morocco and in other arabic countries.
I would not recommend it to my colleagues as I did not benefit from it as much as I expected.
Tangery is an amazing city, I think I could be able to live there. Ther's the ocean, that is my element, ther's the old town with restaurants and cafè, life is cheap and with buses you can easily reach others interesting cities. The school of arabic is familiar but really professional, you can have lunch there and the staff gives you any information you need. Classes are composed by 5-6 students so you can learn a lot. I was in a riad in the old town and the atmosphere was great!

Personally I really liked the experience! I went there with two friends I first met in my third year of university in Milan, we thought that going to Morocco in the summer of our last year would have been a right decision and it was! I hadn’t a very good level of Arabic and oral skills were my biggest problem because in our university many lessons were about grammar and translation, I found the lessons at tangeribiz very useful because they involved reading, writing and speaking! At the weekends we were free to go and visit the other beautiful cities of Morocco and the following Monday we were asked about our trip and we had to speak a lot in Arabic, so I really appreciate that. The teachers are kind, sometimes they came with us for dinner or maybe they pick us up in their cars to show us some beautiful places not reachable on foot. In the afternoon we had the possibility of attending a course of Moroccan dialect, very amazing! I was in al bayrouni, near the school and surely it was not an hotel but we had all the commodities, except for the washing machine but it was not a big problem! There were two cooks that made our breakfast and our lunch everyday, everything was so delicious! In the school break they made the typical Moroccan tea for us!
