Karen and Christine were excellent teachers.
Karen had passion to improve me for pronunciation and vocabulary as considering my level.
Christine had best teaching skill to fill in students brine and to enhance oneself-study.
And housing of homestay was good condition particularly Alson had serviced the cooked dinner with traditional UK home style in every evening. I was deeply impressed with their kindness and consideration,
Final, Saturday outing event was very useful to understand UK culture.
My overall experience in Inlingua was great. The classes were well organized, therefore they were enjoyable, just like both staff and teachers were really helpful and friendly. The location of the school is quite good, since is close to lots of restaurants and shops, and is situated in a quiet a central part of Cheltenham. But unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed about the activities, because they always finished earlier than they said it would on the schedule. By the way, I recommend on not going to London with school if it’s you first time in the city, because you will not get to see much of it.
Show details » Read more...They are very well organized, morning classes put more emphasis on grammar and those of the afternoon in speech, very useful truth. the teachers are very good, you can ask them anything that they are always at your disposal. the location of the school is very good, it is in the center then when you finish the classes you are very close to all the bars to go and have a tea with friends. It's what we always do, so we finish the classes but you keep practicing English.
Show details » Read more...I really enjoyed my stay in Cheltenham and also the course I took. I was extremely lucky with my host mother, who cares in such a nice and personal way for her guests that one could really feel at home. I think Cheltenham is a perfect place for taking language courses, because it is a nice town, not too big and not too boring and Inlingua is a good school. But in the end it didn't offer what I expected. As I booked a refresher course for teacher of English as a foreign language, I ended up in a course that was more of an introduction to teaching with a focus on CLIL than a refreshing.
It was okay - the teachers were very nice and highly qualified and the discussions we had in class gave me the opportunity to practice and improve my English, but the content was not really new and innovative.
But all in all I really had a good time.
Dear Silke
