Course description

In this course, no Japanese language experience is needed. It's a beginner Japanese course designed to teach you the basics of Japanese.

You will learn at the same time hiragana and katakana while practicing conversation skills at the same time.

In just a few weeks, you'll be confidently greeting new people, navigating public transportation, and sharing your impressions of Japan. Our small class sizes and experienced teachers create a supportive learning environment where you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice speaking.

Choose our intensive course for rapid progress and immersive language learning. With five lessons per week, you'll master the basics in no time. Each lesson is 3x50 minutes long.

I have been learning Japanese at Coto, I attend classes two days a week for 2 hours each day. During that time I found all the teachers to be excellent and proficient in content knowledge and the methodology of how they teach. They have all shown patience with our group and come to class each day with a smile and good humor. Coto Club has also been flexible with our group organizing classes around the schedule of some students who return home for Summer. I hope to continue my learning journey with Coto Club for the duration of my stay in Tokyo.
