According to UNESCO, Brasilia is a singular artistic achievement, a prime creation of the human genius, representing, on an urban scale, the living expression of the principles and ideas advanced by the Modernist Movement and effectively embodied in the Tropics through the urban and architectural planning of Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer. It headquarters Brazil's Federal Government and it is surrounded by waterfalls, parks, and curiosities.
My husband Chris and I had a great experience at the school. Our teacher Raquel was really fun and obviously very knowledgeable about the subject, and knew more about English than I do. Luciano, the director, was very helpful, and they both went out of their way to help us anytime we needed it. The lessons were carefully planned and fit our interests and needs exactly. In the afternoon we sometimes took field trips and learned so much about the city, the culture and the surrounding area.
The location was fine. The neighborhood was nice and we could walk from our apartment.
We were very sorry to leave Brasilia. If we'd known how much we were going to like it, we would have stayed longer.
There is nothing we did not like.
