Eureka is a brand-new school aiming to transmit the Modern Greek language and culture worldwide. Our goal is to engage students in various fun activities and through experiential learning help them gain a thorough knowledge of the Greek language in combination with various aspects of Greek culture. We offer modern Greek lessons for all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced. The courses are addressed to those who love the Greek language, as well as theater, history, mythology, literature, cooking and ... originality. The school' s excellent location offers you the opportunity to stroll around the historical city center and enjoy the contemporary vibrant atmosphere of Athens, the city referred to as the cradle of Western civilization.
The lessons were excellent, we got lots of tips about the country and its people and learned the basics of Greek almost on the side. The course was just for me and my wife, the location is absolutely central. The teacher adapted to our level and taught us a lot.

The teacher was very competent and knew how the modern greek words were based in ancient greek. She understood the level of understanding very fast and adapted the private lessons accordingly.

The lessons are very well structured and Dimitra develops an individually tailored programme that covers all elements - speaking, listening and grammar. For the vocabulary development, we held discussions about current topics, so that a very contemporary vocabulary was learned. Dimitra also makes excellent use of different pedagogical and methodological approaches in her lessons, so that the lessons are very varied and fly by.
I made very quick progress in my Greek speaking, reading, and writing abilities thanks to Dimitra. She is an excellent teacher and impresses with her positivity, openness and enthusiasm! I can highly recommend the Eureka Greek Language School to anyone who would like to learn or improve their Greek. Here, you learn the Greek language with a lot of joy and heart!
The intensive course greatly advanced my Greek speaking, reading, and writing abilities. The school is located in an incredible location in central Athens. Dimitra has immense knowledge of the city and after lessons, went out with us to explore and eat. Can highly recommend if you want to improve your Greek/ get to know Athens a bit better.
