I liked every aspect of the course: pedagogy, teachers, friendly staff, nice fellowship, etc.

Hello,
There are many subjects and I only had a conversation class for 2 weeks, so I can't judge. However, I saw students happy and the teachers were supportive.
Moreover, the location was fantastic in heart of Westwood. Definitely, I will recommend people to go to MLI in future.
Thank you
Thanks for the review! Hopefully next time you can stay longer. There's so much to experience in LA.
I like mentor school. I really enjoyed out there. If I could go to English school again undoubtedly I would choose Mentor school.

We're always here to help students, and hope to see you again!!
Good luck to your study!!
My teachers were awesome. Mike and Daniel always helped me a lot.
My classmates were so friendly. This school is so kind and gorgeous.
All things at the school were excellent. The teachers, staff, location, and students were excellent. I stayed 8 months which was a fabulous time. I enjoyed going to school and I met a good friends. Los Angeles is the most beautiful city in United States. There were a lot of activities. The weather was mild and the people were friendly. There are a lot of homeless people but they are very quiet and can't hurt you.

He was well organized and prepared for the class, and he also knew a lot about the real TOEFL exam. He also helped me out of class. Due to his effort, my TOEFL score rose dramatically. After my TOEFL class, I also attended the GMAT GRE class. It also helped me to improve my score, but I still had some difficulties.
What I want you to change is the office stuff. Not always but sometimes they kept chatting with students when I went to the office to ask some help, so I needed to wait a long time. I'm fine to wait if the staff are helping students, but I don't want to wait until the staff to finish such meaningless chatting because the staff is at the office in order to help students, not to have a chat with students. Sometimes the staff seem to have more priority chatting rather than helping students.
I am a Toefl student and my teachers are excellent. My reading and speaking teacher is especially amazing. They have a lot of knowledge and they teach us efficiently. This school location is good. I have to take 2 buses but there is no problem with it. One thing that I don't like is some students speak their mother language to the teachers or desk workers. I think at least they have to try to speak English, then if they can't explain what to say in English, they ask in their language. Other than that, this is a great school.

I am still studying there. I just love that school!
Hired the course of business, but ended up doing an ESL module, not found problem but it was not my original idea.

It was really nice because the dormitory was clean and near to the school (only 5 minutes by bus). The person I shared my room with was very kind. She was a Brazilian girl and I think it was a good idea to mix different cultures.
My teachers were really good, especially John because he was pedagogic, and at the same time really funny! Also, he teaches pronunciation really well.
It was an unforgettable experience and maybe I'll come back.
Dear Aysel,
Thank you for your kind message :)
It was a pleasure for us to welcome you in our school and we're glad to know that you enjoyed your experience in Los Angeles and your studies at Mentor Language Institute.

These homes are often around 25 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 16+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying full time in the United States for more than 18 hours per week, you will receive an I-20 that you need to submit to the US embassy along with your F-1 student visa application. The I-20 has a SEVIS tracking number on it. Students who wish to apply for a student visa must pay the SEVIS fee online before going to the US embassy or consulate for their visa interview.
Your I-20 will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
Please note that United States law states that an I-20 can only be issued to students who intend to pursue full-time English language studies. United States law does not permit students to study part-time with an F-1 Student Visa. If you are studying for less than 18 hours per week, you have to apply for a Visitor Visa (B1/B2) on your own.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Los Angeles based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
