From here it’s a short subway ride to the heart of all the action in downtown or a short train ride will take you out into the peaceful Massachusetts countryside. Our centre, established in 1992, is right next to a subway stop, near the Charles River and has been recently refurbished. The English language school of EC Boston, founded in 1992, is ideally located in the center of Boston. Faneuil Hall Square is an important place in the history of Boston (and American). Students love to learn in such a historic area that also has all the restaurants, shops and entertainment you could wish for in a modern city. The school is close to public transportation (State St. T Station), which makes it easy to get to the accommodation. English courses include general English, preparation for exams and programs for the academic year.
The location from the school was perfekt, next to you was the Quincy Market. The teacher are very nice, they teach very good so you can understand all. My classes were so nice, i have two new friends from the school. I didn't do any of the school activities because I wanted to spend time with my family, but they sounded really good!
Show details » Read more...In my opinion, this School has everything to make you feel satisfied and happy. Excellent teachers, and also the location and the facilities are great.
The housing its ok but I think could improve some aspects as: the cleaning, specially in the fridge, the towels to clean and to dry the stuff at the kitchen. The pans some of them are really old. Also I think that could exist a soap for washing plates and for washing clothes that can be used for every body. Doesn’t make sense to buy a bottle or can of detergent for 2 or 3 weeks. Could be great to replace the carpet in the bathroom and the curtain, and check the place to put the shampoo because it is rusty.
People at the front desk are friendly and open to attend your questions.
And the administrative staff is also very interested in addressing your needs, so they set up your schedule in the best way, for letting you reach your goals.
I loved the city, the facilities and the friendly staff.
Show details » Read more...I liked everything very well. The class was fun, interesting and I learned a lot of new things. The location was also good, because the way to school was not that long. The housing was amazing. My host family was just great; they were nice, helpful and friendly.

Show details » Read more...The school is not bad and some excellent teachers, but there are others, I think they should not learn the language.
Show details » Read more...I enjoyed my advanced Business English course at EC Boston very much. The teachers are really great at EC Boston. The classes were instructive and entertaining at the same time. Boston is a lovely city and EC is located in the center of downtown near the seaside.
Show details » Read more...The one to one course was the best for us. The teacher could very well adapt to our levels and we could improve our language knowledge significantly.

Show details » Read more...Classes are great. Especially the teaching professionalism of Caitlin, Eddie, Brett, also pronunciation and slang teachers. The location of the EC school is very easy to reach by train. That helps a lot. The activities are also interesting, however I would prefer to make them more out of charge, as you know for some of them students have to pay. I am not satisfied with the housing conditions. The rooms are in poor condition, kitchen stuff is not completed fully. Despite of our requests nobody made our cable TV work till now... But generally all seems OK for now.
Show details » Read more...I did like the classes a lot and I had two great teachers (Timothy and David). The location was great, close to the T and to the downtown. I know that the school moved to a new building this year and I have heard from students that it is good as well. I didn't have a chance to participate in many activities but I know people enjoyed going to the Blue Man Group show, karaoke, football games, etc. As for the housing, my homestay family was ok, the food was good, and they were always ready to talk to us. I was a little disappointed with my room (it was a single, but the girl who lived in the room next to mine had a different schedule and had to walk through my room in the mornings. As I'm a light sleeper, I was always woken up as well). The location wasn't the best; they live in Dorchester and it wasn't always easy to get back from Downtown, especially at night. But I know that a lot of the homestay families live kind of far from the city center. In general, everything was good and I had a great time. Thank you for your assistance.
Show details » Read more...I really like the teachers, school location, and extra activities.
Show details » Read more...The classes were enjoyable, except for when we did readings. The teachers were very nice, above all Timothy; he changed the way I used to understand the language, I am very glad he was my teacher. The location, facilities, and activities were perfect. The atmosphere inside the academy was warm, friendly, and close. I learned a lot and I would really recommend it!!!!
