Preston Academy of English is in the friendly university city of Preston, Lancashire in the North-West of England.
Our school is located in the city centre.Very close to all transportation links, student accommodation, shops, restaurants, cafes and the famous Preston Market. The school's excellent location means that you will be always close to satisfying your needs.
Preston has excellent transportation links and this means that we are just a 2 and half hours train ride from London,Edinburgh and a short train ride from Manchester and Liverpool.
Despite on the time i spend it in the academy which was a short period
So i can’t estimate the academy precisely . Begin with teachers who were very friendly and helpful and lasted with location which was a such perfect to me because it is nearly to my apparemment . On other hand the price of the course was costly to me and at the same time there are alot of online course with minimal price which is affordable to me .
Thanks with
Best regards
I am so grateful for the time I enjoyed in the academy, to be hones I learned a lot, and I feel more comfortable and confident with my English.
Unfortunately I enjoyed during the time when school moved to another building, and we loose some teachers, that affect a lot to me, the new building rooms sometimes are too small, and I don't like the chair's but in the future that things can be improved.
I can say with honesty they have a great humans group, always ready to support and help.
Preston Academy of English is my favourite English school as I used to study with punch of English schools worldwide. teachers are professional, courses are suitable for every level, city is quite and in the central of the U.K which means nothing is far away from you and the management members of the school are hopeful and kind people. every week they have activities for students to practice their language outside.
if you want to join this school, do not miss the afternoon classes (IELTS, speaking, writing ...etc) there are useful classes shouldn't be missed.
This school will take you hand by hand from the beginning to the professionalism. It was a nice time in Preston Academy of English, furthermore, the school's price is affordable and the city is one of the cheapest cities it the U.K.

Show details » Read more...The experience at Preston Academy of English has been very pleasant for me. It is very well located, practically in the center. It is not very big, but it has everything you need (Small classrooms with small groups to interact, Services, Meeting Room where you can spend time together, have a coffee, a soft drink or a bottle of water..., a small Laboratory where they do tests. ..
You meet young and old colleagues (from good middle class families), who come from Egypt, Turkey, Arabia, Pakistan, Italy, France, Romania, Spain... with whom you make easy a little friendship. You know that there are diverse beliefs and you respect them, but tolerance and humanity overlap.
The Teachers are native and know a lot, they welcome you right away so that you learn a lot or to maintain your English.
Many settle in family homes, or rent a small apartment. I was in the Residence of Trinity College, which is very close and where it is very good. I was in a house where there is a small kitchen with a refrigerator and basic tools. There you can make your breakfast, a sandwich or a salad, if you want to eat there. You also have a communal iron. And then there are three or four single rooms with your bed, your wardrobe, your table-wifi and your bathroom with a shower (the basics). There is a Laundry where you can wash-dry your clothes with a few coins. Everything clean, and the doormen are discreet, friendly and attentive. From the Academy there is someone who cares about where you are, if you are safe and do not have any health problems. They are discreet and give you security. I was in the house with a Greek woman teacher, who came with a small group to Preston University, a young Arab from Riyadh and a young Japanese. Each to his own, but with very good coexistence
Some simple activities are carried out at the Academy...some visit-outing to a church, to a cafeteria-pastry shop...You get along very well with your classmates and with the teachers.
I know the grammar, more or less the vocabulary and the writing, but in oral communication I am somewhat worse. Perhaps the personal academy lacks a bit of knowledge of the students' native languages... to be precise in some communication, but obviously English must be the language of exchange (in fact speaking in one's own languages can become a lack of education, and that is understandable).
All in all, a very positive experience. English and Arab people have created an Intelligent Integration Academy for Europe, which is what society has to do in the 21st century
My name is Ahmed and I'm happy when I am study English with them .they're having a good teacher. I was teaching with Atifah . Thank you to Abdullah the director of the academy, he was very interested in those who study in the academy and helps them even in private matters.

I was only 2 weeks (15 hours a week) at the Preston Academy of English, but could improve my English like one year in school( my feeling) ! It's near the city centre so you can find it easy. The location is small but have all you need, sometimes it was a little bit cold but we were in a small room and it's getting warm fast. I like the small room because there are only three people, another student , the teacher and me. They are both so friendly, especially the teacher Maria was so sweet and lovely. It was nice to talk to them and feeling comfortable, not like the feeling in school. Because we were such a little group the teacher could focus and our problems, the class never get boring and we do a lot of interesting things. The possibility to go on trips on Fridays and Saturdays are a very good thing but cause I was only there to visit my boyfriend I was more interested to stay with him , but it's such a good way to communicate and make friends in a new country so if I would be there for another reason I would going to take place. Moreover the help of the assistant Require (sorry if I don't write it correct) was so lovely , she helps me in every situation and with problems I have in another country. I be so thankful to the whole team. See you, Isabel Schreiber from Berlin (Germany)

I spent a whale of time with the best teachers and staff in the academy!
Firstly, all of staff members were the most helpfully persons in my English language studies experience.
Secondly, there are a numerous highly qualified teachers. For instance, some of them have PHD degree about English language.
What is more, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, near the city center and the academy.
All in all, I recommend this Academy for all students who would like to speak English well.
Thank you very much for your feedback. You and your son are welcome back anytime and it is good to see you using the language!:)
I came to Preston Academy of English for an intership with my university and I'm very happy of these 2 months in England. My teacher was incredible and very understandable with students. I liked my class because the cultural mix was extraordinary, there were students from all over the world it's was just fantastic.
Concerning my housing, it was nice because it was close to the academy (about 10 minutes walk ).
So in general, this experience was just perfect and I liked all.
Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated. Good luck for the future.
During this period I like teacher because they spoken so I understood pretty good. The activities was in a correct level for me.
my classmates were nice.I like the location. It is not difficult go to school.
My trip was amazing! I've never had such an amazing experience in my life. I'm so grateful to have met many people around the world and getting know other cultures. I really enjoyed having so many different teachers, each one with a different and funny way to teach, to make you feel interested, and they are all such a lovely people. I think I had improved my language skills, in fact I want to learn more languages. Now I can have a normal conversation with someone without thinking too much I feel more confident. Moreover, I have an amazing director as well he is a such a good person, always encouraged me to do my best, and trying to make me smile each day and I'm so thankful for that! In the future I want to be surrounded with people like him( Abdullah Nakhuda).
