Course description

The Standard Course is available to adults (18 +), teenagers (13-17) and to small children (3-12) Each course is designed specifically to suit the required age group. All courses cover the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with a specific emphasis on improving oral communication. Materials are taken from a whole range of diverse texts in order to tailor-make the course to each group of students.

The school is a family run school next to Killarney National Park, set in the most magnificent location in Ireland. We offer places to children, teenagers, and adults. We have a very impressive and thorough social & activity programme and top class accommodation on offer.

Killarney School of English is overall a friendly school drawing on the Irish experience. Even if you come alone, you will soon find many friends. People in Killarney have been welcoming tourists for 250 years so are very friendly.

The School is a WIFI Hotspot so if you bring your laptop you can connect to the Internet for free. All of our classrooms are modern, light and airy. In addition, all classrooms are equipped with tape recorders, CD players and DVDs.

Mi profesora, muy bien la verdad, muy amable y los compañeros españoles se portaron mal; los castigaron muchas veces en dirección. Yo creo que se debería mezclar más los estudiantes y no todos los estudiantes españoles juntos.
Por que no avanzábamos en clase por culpa de unos pocos.

Students are placed with caring host families who will involve you in their family life giving you plenty of speaking and listening practice .Our host families will be happy to deal with any dietary requirements, allergies or special needs you may have. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 80 € when you register.
