In our Conversation Classes, you will:
- Take part in question and answer sessions with your teacher on a variety of topics
- Get lots of practice in forming and asking your own questions to your classmates
- Have lots of chances to discuss issues with your classmates
- Have lots of chances to learn new vocabulary as you speak
Conversation Classes are designed to give you maximum speaking time, either answering questions from your teacher or classmates or in pair or group discussions.
A variety of interesting topics are covered each lesson. For each topic, you will get many chances to practise answering and asking questions, express your opinions in detail and learn new vocabulary and expressions to use in everyday speech.
You will be pushed to converse in an English-only environment each lesson, giving you the confidence to express yourself and make more friends at work or in your free time.
Your teacher will correct your mistakes and offer pronunciation advice every lesson as well as offer more detailed written feedback to help you improve after each assessment.

Britannia English Academy is located in the heart of Manchester at the very centre of the city. It is close to the National Gallery, Piccadilly Gardens, the shops of Market Street, and the fashionable area of Chinatown. The school's excellent location means you are never more than a short walk away from all the major attractions in Manchester.
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.
If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 200 when you register.
