I liked the lessons of Ophelie, because she was always well prepared and the lessons were varied. She also spread a good mood in the class.

ALPADIA’s location is 5 minutes walk from the station, very easy to get to!!
And also the hotel affiliated with Alpadia was very comfortable.
In the school,I participated few activities.(making chocolate cake,crepes )
I really liked the quality of the materials and they were so delicious.
It was my first time in Switzerland
Overall very nice and helpful people but really depends on teacher and how many students are in the class.
Great location of the school and I really enjoyed the cultural activities in the group.
The class size was pretty good, and the teachers knew how to make it the best experience for all of the students. But the teachers can vary in energy and motivation. The School is not organized the best. There is a app that you get a login to get updates on the schedule, but this is managed really poorly and sometimes was only updated on Sunday evening. The activities were okay but often had to get cancelled because too little people entered. Otherwise the school was good.
Show details » Read more...It was an unforgettable experience. I had really good classes with amazing teachers, activities that were fun and at the same time educational. It was the ideal learning experience, because everyone was speaking in French so I could improve my French in a way that i couldn’t imagine.
The idea of living in a house with a French couple was a little scary at first, but after I realized that was really good, because I could also learn by living among the daily bases of an ideal Swiss life. Overall it was a really good experience that I will never forget.
As a 17 year old I was nervous to study abroad for the first time alone, but ALPADIA made my experience worthy and so much fun. Learning french was easy because the faculty was so fun making activities in class to help students understand the grammar/vocabulary easier. My host family were very welcoming as they introduced the Swiss culture to myself for the first time. Truly an unforgettable experience!

I really liked my homestay family, because they took really good care of me!
The teachers were very helpful when I didn't understand something and knowledgeable.
The teaching material: books were good.
The location of the school was really good, because there was a bus station close by and a shopping center in the area.
The activities were really interesting, because you could learn about some cultural trades from Switzerland.
Negative:
The classrooms were a little too small and it was really hot in summer even though there were fans around.
The school administrative material: timetable, regulation etc. was all in French so it was difficult for a beginner (like me) to understand.
I enjoyed and learned a lot in only one week at the Language School in Montreux.
Teachers were experienced and helpful. They were also extremely respectful regarding your level of knowledge.
I am planning to return to improve myself. The school location and the facility were excellent.
I just knew one teacher, who was very good. I think that the apartment deserves another look! The location and facilities were wonderful.
Show details » Read more...I really enjoyed the experience, but I think one week was a short time. I think two weeks to make a "cycle" was more ideal, because when I was starting to understand the dynamics and what to study in the course methodology, the course was already concluding.
I really liked the standard classes (with Teacher Yoann) and classes of "Intensive Communication". I was only disappointed with and would not repeat the "Premium" classes. I expected written group work (as is stated on the site), but during the first class, the teacher said it was "individual work", and to ask help if I had any questions.
Location and access: Excellent.
