Course description

Many employers recognise Cambridge EFL certificates as proof of the holder's ability to use English to communicate effectively. The skills gained are of value in a wide range of work - related, academic and social situations.
The Exam Preparation courses are very structured and follow an accredited curriculum with weekly testing to ensure course progress. The course will focus on all skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking and Use of English (Grammar and Vocabulary) and each week a particular skill may be chosen for additional exam practice and error analysis. These courses are an excellent choice for students wishing to study an academic-focused class with specific study goals.

By following a time-specifice course curriculum, this ensures students can reach their individual study goals faster!

This course can be offered as an 'Award course' for Language Links' students, this means by successfully completing the course, students can achieve a nationally recognised qualification in English at an Upper-Intermediate level of Proficiency - National Course code: 52237.
The external Cambridge FCE Examination may be taken at the end of the course to give students the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised English Certificate as well. Exam fee for 2012 is $385.

"I had an amazing time in school and with my home stay family."

Beatrice Gubler

I appreciated the small class, where, if necessary, problems could be discussed with each student individually. The relationship between classmates was very good and supportive. The relationship between teacher and students was very tight, which affected the fun of learning very much.

The classrooms were not very big. In the summer, the AC was not always working properly. But in my opinion, most important is the teacher and not facilities!

I enjoyed Friday activities very much. It is so important to have some fun together, and it was a great way to end a busy week in school.

My host family was awesome and I can highly recommend them. Having said that, it is probably only a great place for someone who is independent.

"It was fun"

Martin Clement, student from Switzerland

I only spent 5 weeks following LL classes and I didn't take any exams. But as far as I know it's a really good school and I made lots of progress. We were only 6 or 7 per class and the teachers were friendly. The school is in the city center almost in front of the bus stop. The housing was really good! People where I stayed were really keen on helping and friendly.
