Hi, my name is Lorenzo, I studied in this school for 5 months. It was an incredible experience, all the teachers are kind and available for anything. The location is amazing because you have free parking near the school, also the tram station is close and you can have everything you need in this school. The school has lots of activities you can take part in, all the activities are great and it's an opportunity to improve your language and make new friends!.
I recommend this school to all people coming to San Diego to study the language or to try to get into a university.
I love the teachers and all the schedule of this course. I didn`t go in personal, because of the distance from my location. Classes are impressive and very informative, then it's very easy to learn about American culture and others important points. Even online, my classmates were receptive, and I learned a little with them. It`s the best course that I`ve ever seen, and I joined in a lot of them in Brazil. Just to conclude, I liked Connect English a lot and I`m feeling bad to leave, but for Brazilians It`s very difficult to buy dollars.

The location is good, it is close to the train station. The facilities are suitable for an English course. The school is very strict with time, attendance and assessment of students, have proof every week.

Activity in the afternoon is free and fun. All level student are mixed and we can communicate the students from other countries. And it’s good opportunity to know the other students culture and differences compared my home country.

The school is very close to the station, so I could go around after school by trolley. I'll never forget those experiences. I want to go back there again.
Well, that’s the impressive thing about this course. The content is just fantastically in depth. This program contains a vast amount of language information, which the user can eventually learn to apply to pretty much any situation, giving them confidence when they come to use their new skills in a more real world setting. French Dialogue While this might be considered a negative aspect to the program (and if it were handled by an inferior company then it might be), having so much available information really helps you to feel as though you are in good hands.
There was over 90 hours in the course in the form of audio lessons, with accompanying text for each section. There were four levels from beginner to advanced levels, with a very noticeable progression through them all. When they use the term “beginner”, however, this does not mean that they will go easy on you. As I will discuss a little further, this is a very intense course. It can be a little daunting as a complete novice to a language, however swamped you might feel with it, the thing to keep in mind is that you are working towards a goal, that most language courses are not equipped to give you: fluency.
I had good time there. I arrived in San Diego with ZERO English. So I passed all of the levels there. The English skill I have today, I learned it there. Location, facilities, teachers, staff, classmates, books: everything is perfect. Absolutely, I have no complaint! I'm still thinking about going back there to finish my course and try the TOEFL class.

The classes and the teachers were very interesting and helpful. I had 6 different teachers during these 5 months and they were all very nice and they taught me a lot. It's just amazing how you can improve your English when you are in USA. I learned so many things. More particularly, I improved a lot on my speaking because you have to speak only English at the school. I also met people from everywhere. It was such an amazing experience!
Connect English Language has different campuses; I was at Alvarado Canyon Rd. The location was good because you had the trolley station and bus station just in front of the school, so it was very helpful for the transportation.
During these 5 months, I did so many activities with the school. The teachers offer activities for their classes. For example, I went to the beach, to Balboa Park, hiking... It was very fun!
For my part, I lived in Santee which is around 15min of driving distance. I lived with my boyfriend and an Australian roommate.
I will get my TOEFL and will go to Grossmont College for the next fall semester.
It was a good experience. I enjoyed the whole time. The teachers are very proactive for the student to learn English.
