Explore. Plan. Prepare. Young Professionals is a dynamic English language course for students wishing to gain hands-on experience, essential skills, and insight into their future careers. Students will engage in a variety of academic and apprentice-style lessons taught by a diverse team of experienced tutors. Throughout lessons, Study-in-Action excursions, and weekly group projects, students will develop strong pre-career and academic knowledge whilst perfecting English fluency and learning specialized vocabulary applicable to their future careers.
Aspiring Engineer students will gain a better understanding of the engineering industry from commercial and technical perspectives. Students will understand the different areas of engineering and learn to evaluate the social, economic, and environmental impact of projects in different global contexts. Lessons will include: the principles of design, planning and prototyping, and sustainable engineering.

This course is designed for highly motivated students who are interested in the field of engineering and want to gain a deeper insight into possible future careers.
This course is for learners between the ages of 13 - 17 who are interested in developing advanced language proficiency within a career context
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an individualised report card and Bucksmore Education course certificate.

DVB is located just outside the city center of Oxford and is one of the most popular schools in UK. The school specializes in teaching English to foreign students like you. Their class size is also very small compared to other schools. They also have very friendly teachers and staff members who will take good care of you while you're in Oxford.

History:
d’Overbroeck’s Oxford is a traditional city-center boarding school in the city of Oxford. Consistently ranked among the top co-educational boarding schools in the UK, d’Overbroeck’s was first founded in 1977 by Malcolm van Biervliet (the name “d’Overbroeck” comes from part of his family name, which has Flemish origins).
The school quickly established itself as a forward-thinking and highly-successful boarding school with a reputation for highly quality academic tuition.
Location:
Located just to the north of Oxford city-center, our summer school takes place in d’Overbroeck’s’ new sixth form center, completed in September 2017. This stunning campus boasts state-of-the art and modern facilities, providing an ideal backdrop for the Young Professionals suite of summer programmes.
Oxford is based in the South-East of England is one of the fastest growing and most ethnically diverse cities in England. Famous for its beautiful architecture, Oxford is only 60 miles north-west of London.
Accommodation:
Situated in d’Overbroeck’s boarding houses, the accommodation consists of single, twin and triple dorms, separated into male and female, bathrooms are a mix of en-suite and shared. There is a laundry room in the boarding house which is available to our students free of charge.
Safety:
In addition to the the residential center management team and counsellors that provide pastoral care and support to students, there are also friendly and welcoming d’Overbroeck’s staff on-site and happy to assist students.
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 13 - 17. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from DVB. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.
If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
