English is the international language of business. We have therefore developed a special, flexible, 12-module course designed to rapidly improve your business communication skills. Every 12 weeks, we recycle the modules with a fresh syllabus. This means students who wish to study longer and consolidate and expand their knowledge of a particular area, can do so without repeating any material.
The “English for business” course consists of 6 lessons per day. The first 4 lessons (Lessons 1 - 4) are the same as the lessons in our “General 20” course. During these 4 lessons you will rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 of these 4 lessons, you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 of these 4 lessons, you will concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You will use a textbook in conjunction with a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.
After the first 4 lessons (lessons 5–6), you will take a range of electives to rapidly improve your business communication skills. In each module, through a combination of written exercises, presentations, dialogues and role-plays in realistic business situations, you will practice and improve your skills in: business vocabulary and “buzz words”, email, memo and letter writing, negotiating, interviewing and telephoning in English.

The experience was pleasant and enjoyable even though the structure and educational equipment can definitely be improved.
The staff and the teachers were kind but not always able to motivate the students; the classes are not always homogeneous and stimulating.
I liked it. Everyone was really nice and they welcomed me when I arrived. The teachers are good at teaching and they are funny, it’s a good combination.
I liked some activities cause some of them were going to the museum and that’s kinda boring.
The school are located in a good place. It is really easy to get there.
I had a great time at LSI Brisbane. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The part I enjoyed the most was absolutely the ability to meet people from all over the world. Throughout conversation we've had I unconsciously improved my English as well. Classes were always interesting, teacher had an amazing sense for humour. The only thing I'd missed were some additional challenges for higher-level students. Sometimes I felt that the lessons were too easy for me.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time at LSI Brisbane.
School located in city and there is good public transport.
Teachers and Staffs in school are very accommodating and they more likes your friends. When you in the class you will not feel boring and want to sleep because it is very interesting! And the teachers in here are have enough patience and passion, they don’t hesitate to give you the answer or help.
Homestay family is very kind and the house is very clean and tidy.
Well a decided to started an English course because I wanted a easy way to enter in the "Australian world". Defiantly it was. Teachers are helpful and it seems that they like their job. In fact, they were always smiling and ready to give you an hand. The morning classes sometimes could be a little boring but I think that is a universal thing: I mean every school sometimes is boring. The classes are well structured and you can find easily your English level. I had really enjoyed my class because people were extremely friendly and we use to talk a lot.
The morning classes were pretty funny because they teach English vocabulary with games or making speech about interesting topic.
The school is easy to find.
I didn't like the activities they proposed.
Teacher Dave is so kind man and his class was so fantastic and very very fun!!!! I'd like to appreciate with my enormous love!!!!
Show details » Read more...The staff so helpful, kind and supported everything that they can do for us, and the teachers show their eagerness to teach us the best that they can give to improve our English, even thought some teacher is not. But most of all, the teachers are very nice and great. They were very helpful while I was studying there. It's a conducive situation for us to learn and communicate in proper English.
Show details » Read more...My feedback is really positive on the school, even if my personal experience was not so good. I believe the school is very good, in terms of teachers, organization, and so on. The main issue is only related to my personal feeling, actually the main part of students are very young and they typical attend school for longer period than me. Due to this I didn't feel myself integrated into school, even if it is very good. Thanks, Francesco
Show details » Read more...The school was good, and the teachers and general class as well, but to be honest it should have more and better conversations class (more dynamic, and more hours) and extra activities. Everything about locations and facilities was very good. On the other hand the housing was great! Perfect! I was with a very special and lovely family in Brisbane.
Show details » Read more...As expected we are no more than 10-12 persons per each class, it guarantees a direct relationship with the excelent teachers! Some of them have an australian accent but we are in Australia so I can't complain for this! At the moment I'm attending a Cambridge Advanced Exam course preparation and I think that's very useful to improve my english because there is the pressure of the exam.
There are a lot of activities offered by the school but the prices are the same or higher than the external agency!
In relation to my housing my host-family is very kind and friendly but unfortunately the house is far from the school. Every morning I need at least 45 minutes by bus (sometimes 1h) to arrive at school. I got upset for this but on the other hand I like the family so I don't want to change!
