This course is designed for mathematically able students wishing to take 2 or 3 'A' levels in one academic year (September-June).
Students are taught in small groups with an average of 7 per class, so that our students receive the individual attention they require.
Eight 45 minute lessons are allocated for each subject per week, this gives a total of 6 hours with the teacher per 'A' Level subject per week.
All 'A' level students also have weekly individual tutorials with their subject tutor, this ensures ongoing support and guidance during their course.
Our teaching staff offer expert UCAS advice. All students are fully guided through the UCAS application procedure.

Buckswood St Georges is located centrally in Hastings on England's South-East (Sunshine) Coast and is closely linked with Buckswood School just 15 minutes drive away.
We offer a variety of courses from short English Language Courses, to a year-long University Foundation Course to a full 2 year IB/A-Level course. We also offer half term/holiday courses and programmes tailored to suit your needs.
Buckswood St Georges relocated at the end of 2012 and we are now ideally positioned for all the main facilities of the town, Old Town and seafront.
Our two newly refurbished residences offer spacious living accommodation, well-proportioned classrooms, an IT suite with free wi-fi internet, study rooms, dining room, lounge area with TV/pool table/table tennis/foosball, attractive gardens and outdoor basketball court. A full reference library is located 5 minutes away, as is Hastings University Centre and an IELTS testing centre.
We operate a full social programme which all students are welcome to join. We offer in house activities such as quiz nights, film nights and theme nights, and outside trips, maybe to the cinema, ten-pin bowling, or crazy golf followed by fish and chips! Full day weekend excursions are arranged to places like Canterbury, London or Brighton, with half day trips mid-week to Rye, Battle or Eastbourne.
Students are able to join in with a variety of sports and activities which can either take place on the Buckswood campus or at local sports centres, activities may include things like sports teams, swimming, or even horse riding.

Hastings is a small seaside town, famous for its connection with the Norman conquest of England in 1066, Pirate and Smuggler heritage, and the Old Town with it's cobbled streets and quaint shops and the steepest funicular railway in the United Kingdom! Also with direct rail links to Ashford International (1 hour), Brighton (1 hour) and London (1.5 hours), Hastings really is an ideal location.
Buckswood St Georges is positioned just minutes from the main town centre and railway and 5 minutes from the beach. With the many shops in and around the covered mall, restaurants, pubs, theatres, cinemas, art galleries, sporting facilities and traditional seaside attractions all within walking distance, there really is something to please everyone!
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.
If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
