Our school has 12 years experience of teaching Georgian language, we were one of the first language school specialized on teaching Georgian and Russian languages for English speaking people.

School offers Georgian private training for adults all year round. During this Georgian course, which is tailored to suit students’ individual needs and level, teachers provide personal guidance to ensure you make progress effectively. Studying Georgian in Georgia gives you the chance to do much more than just master the Georgian language. In fact, choosing Georgian language immersion programs means that you also get familiar with Georgian culture during your stay in Georgia.

GEORGIAN ISN’T HARD TO LEARN
The stereotype that the Georgian language is complicated and very hard to learn is probably due to its uniqueness and isolation from other languages. It is straightforward to learn. The only real difficulty is the verb system.

Our course is specially organized for international people, who are interested in learning Georgian Language in Tbilisi and be familiarized with Georgian culture. Staying in our country is an exciting and unique way to learn about Georgian history, culture and traditions. It's a wonderful opportunity to study and practice Georgian conversation.

GEORGIAN LANGUAGE COURSE CONTAINS: Speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and special course about Georgian history and culture. Course is designed both for beginners and peoples with skill of basics in Georgian Language.

Each lesson lasts 45 minutes (with the possibility of putting one lesson after another), and of course there is always only ever one student in a lesson, which means the Georgian lesson can be adapted to suit the student’s learning speed and profile – for example whether the student is calm or dynamic, shy or communicative;

"Very professional teacher and enjoyed the five days very much,"

Andrew Beadle, student from United Arab Emirates

The office facilities were quite basic, but very sufficient enough. The teacher was very good, very professional. It started off too difficult because they had my level too high.

"Mediocre"

William Sadleir, student from USA

The building is a little depressing, although I hear the school is trying to move somewhere else. My primary instructor obviously did not prepare lessons. She just had me read dialogues from a tired Georgian textbook, during which time she'd look at pictures on her phone. When I finally expressed my dissatisfaction, we switched to translating articles that I was interested in. This was moderately better. Every day, after two lessons, the primary instructor would leave, and I would continue with an aspiring language instructor. She is kind hearted and intelligent, and she actually seems to enjoy her work. Once she has more experience, the school should hire her, because she is certainly more interested in teaching Georgian than the primary instructor.

I did not opt for housing and there were no activities, so I cannot comment on them.

"Despite issues with the teaching material provided too late in my program, the quality of the classes and professionalism of my teacher helped me a lot to improve my Russian skills"

Laurence Couture Gagnon, student from Canada

I followed a 4 week program (20 hours/week) and at the beginning of my first class, I was welcomed by the director of the language center and by my teacher, who both listened carefully my needs, interests and objectives. The director promised that he would provide me with all the necessary learning material adapted to my level.

Unfortunately, my teacher and I were in a difficult situation for the first 10 days, because this material was not provided to us and my teacher made efforts outside working hours to find the necessary books and exercises for me. She even did not want to admit that she did not receive the material from the director until the situation became more problematic. Finally, the director found and gave all the books to my teacher, but it was a bit late according to me. I now realize how difficult and stressful this situation was for my teacher, who despite her young age and recent experience, did a lot of efforts independently to find the best teaching and learning material. Once we had the proper books, the classes were extremely interesting and well prepared. The last 2 weeks of my program were perfect and I really much enjoyed the classes and my teacher's approach. I just wished we could have received the material at the beginning of my program.

The building where the classes are taking place is not in good condition and the toilets (Turkish style) are particularly unhygienic and without maintenance. The classroom is equipped with water, coffee, tea, computer. There is a printer in the neighboring building that students and teachers can use for free.

The director of the language center and his wife offered to organize some tourist activities, but as there were only a few students at that time of the year - and did not want to take part in the activities-- the activities were individual.

I could suggest to the director to provide new students with basic information on the city and main attractions upon arrival of students (maybe short document with references and websites).

I stayed in an apart that I rented downtown with Airbnb, but the Language center offered to option to book apart for students. The center is not located in the center but by metro, it takes 30 min.

"Very satisfied with my stay"

Hajk Makarjan, student from Norway

Good communication with my teacher. I learned a lot, and I am glad with the way we adjusted our study time with my level of Russian. The facilities are limited. WiFi didn’t work until the last day.
