Tetouan is a city located in Northern Morocco. Though it is not as big as some of its sister cities on the Atlantic Ocean – it serves as a highly important port for the country, and the entire continent of Africa. The city was founded in 3 B.C. and has seen Roman, French and Spanish rule and influence. Nowadays, the city’s Medina, or old town section, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
